Two-Hour Delay for Carlin, Elko and Spring Creek Schools
2/18/26 Two Hour Delays
Due to overnight snow accumulations and windy weather conditions, there will be a two-hour delayed start at CARLIN, ELKO, and SPRING CREEK schools today, Wednesday, February 18. Classes will begin two hours later than their typical start time, and bus pick ups will run exactly two hours later.
Please remember to drive slowly and carefully. Students will be waiting for buses, walking to school at different times, using different routes, and may be walking in the street due to snowy sidewalks. Please help keep our students safe and look out for each other.

The Heart & Hope Program provides parent and child victims of past domestic violence with resources and skills for a better future. Register online at extension.unr.edu/heart-hope. Workshops held on Tuesdays, March 3rd – May 5th, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Location is shared at registration. Children 0-18 may attend. A light meal is provided.

This Thursday, the 18th of December, will be an early out at 1:45 pm for the start to our Christmas break. Lunches will be served and buses will run as usual with the early out release time. If your students gets picked up, please make the proper arrangements to be here at 1:45pm. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 at 8:00 am. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
