Faith White Winner

Elko County School District is proud to recognize Faith White, a student at Grammar #2 Elementary, as one of the first winners of the Nevada State Treasurer’s Office Perfect Attendance Challenge.

Faith was one of only three students across Nevada selected in the inaugural monthly drawing for this statewide initiative, which rewards Pre-K through fifth-grade students who achieve perfect attendance. As a winner, Faith will receive a $529 contribution to a 529 College Savings Plan in recognition of her commitment to showing up every day and investing in her future.

The Attendance Challenge is designed to celebrate and encourage consistent attendance, introduce families to the importance of early college savings and promote long-term educational planning.

“We’re extremely proud of Faith and thrilled to see one of our own students recognized in this impactful initiative,” said Sean Stanton, principal of Grammar #2 Elementary School. “Perfect attendance is more than just a number—it reflects dedication, responsibility and a strong foundation for future success.”

The Nevada Treasurer’s Office selects three winners statewide each month from a pool of students with perfect attendance. Participating schools submit lists of eligible students at the end of each month, with no cost to join.

Elko County School District congratulates Faith White on this outstanding achievement and thanks the Nevada State Treasurer’s Office for its efforts to inspire Nevada’s students to prioritize education and plan for their future.
