Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope this message finds you well. As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline processes and ensure accurate student information, Elko County School District is introducing a new annual registration requirement beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. Prior to this, students registered in the district were automatically re-enrolled for the next school year, unless parents/guardians unenrolled their child. This process will allow us to update essential records, confirm contact information, and ensure compliance with state and district policies.
Starting next school year, all families will be required to complete the annual registration for each student enrolled in our school/district. The registration process will be conducted entirely online through our secure Parent Portal. We encourage you to complete this as soon as possible once the registration window opens on Monday, April 14, 2025.
How to Access Online Registration via the Parent Portal
To complete the annual registration, please follow these simple steps:
1. Visit the Parent Portal: Go to https://elkonv.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/parents/elko.jsp
2. Log In: Use your existing Parent Portal username and password. If you do not have an account, click “New User?” and follow the prompts to create one. You will need your Activation Key, which can be obtained by contacting your child’s school.
3. Navigate to Registration: Once logged in, click on “More” in the navigation menu, then click on “Online Registration”, then click “Start” next to 2025-2026 (Next School Year) under “Existing Student Registration”.
4. Complete the Form: Follow the on-screen instructions to update your student’s information, including emergency contacts, medical details, and any other required fields for each enrolled student. Follow the prompts to fill out all necessary sections.
5. Submit: Review your entries carefully, then click Submit to finalize the registration.
If you encounter any issues accessing the Parent Portal or completing the registration, please contact your child’s school.
Thank you for your cooperation as we implement this new process. Keeping our records up to date ensures we can better serve your student and communicate effectively with your family.
Sincerely,
Elko County School District
